Managerial Accounting and Financial Analysis
Assessment: Feasibility Study
For this project, students will develop a new hotel concept and critically analyse to make a GO or NO-GO decision on the project.
The objective is to conduct market studies and assess the feasibility of a proposed hotel development
Your group is required to identify the location and find either a piece of empty land on which the hotel can be built or an existing building, which can be renovated and repositioned as a luxury lifestyle hotel. Upon selecting the land or the existing building, legal and administrative domain, in particular, zoning, license, and building codes, needs to be examined.
The chosen land choose is an abandoned theme park, in Maggie Valley in the United States.
From that place we are building a 5 stars romantic hotel called « Nid d’amour ».
