Develop a formal written proposal for an intended project. (My thesis project is a dance film related to psychological illness such as: dissociative identity disorder or schizophrenia and dance, by using dance movement to show the illness through film). The purpose of the proposal is to clearly articulate ideas associated with mounting the project. Your proposal must show that you have done enough research and planning –and that you have enough support (e.g., access to necessary library materials, rehearsal space, dancers, choreographers, etc.) –that the project may be completed in a timely, sophisticated manner. It is expected that the project will evolve throughout the process of development; the proposal is not intended to be rigid or restrictive, but rather to provide a conceptual framework for your research and artistic process.
