You will keep a Professional and Personal Learning Journal that will chart your academic learning and leadership skills development through the first part of the EDU2210 module.

‘Reflecting with the intent to learn and improve your performance’ is an essential aspect of the EDU2210 module.Your journal should show the progressive development of this skill.

Title Page:
To set the assignment into context for the reader, your title page should include:

> Your name and student number

The journal should include 8 entries, 1 each for the following topics:
Each journal entry should be focused on an aspect of the topic you wish to find out more about. Some journal entries are related to a topic that spans 2 sessions. The chart below is a reminder of what was covered in the sessions relevant to each journal entry.
N.B. Each Journal entry should include in-text references and a Bibiography/References list in line with MDX Education Department Standard Requirements > The Harvard System of Referecing and Bibliographic listing. Failure to incclude references will result in a fail grade. Guidance will be given.

Week 1 Leadership, Managementand Module introduction.
An introduction to the module. A brief introduction to leadership and management theoriesand the role‘reflecting with the intent to learn and progress’plays within the module.
An introduction to the module Kortext, Jeremy Sutcliffe’s (2013) 8 Qualities of Successful School Leaders.
