Why do firms become multinational enterprises? Using examples, explain what motivates organisations to engage in international business and how they internationalise
This is an academic essay, so should be written in a formal academic style. Do not simply describe what businesses did to internationalise, with a brief history of their operations. You should carefully explain their motivations and activities using academic theories and frameworks to support your argument and analysis.
Extra credit will be given for essays that provide a critical account of the internationalisation process and if it was successful.
