You are required to complete two GIS-based practical exercises and write up your findings in scientific report format.

Each individual report should not be more than 5 sides of A4 (10 sides in total for the two combined reports). Where appropriate, you should employ supporting references and illustrative figures (e.g. map compositions) and/or tables in the reports.Each individual report should presented with its own reference list.Please note that the reference lists, and any figures/tables are not included in the page limit.Your reports should be word processed and presented in digital format using the submission area as described above.The report format should employ an 11 or 12 pt font format with 1 or 1.5 line spacing. The citation of reference materials and sources should adopt the Harvard referencing protocols as described in the guidance notes available from Moodle.Penalties for over long submissions: Coursework that exceeds the stated word limit will be penalised according to the following scheme:•If your work (overall for the two exercises) exceeds the stated limit by more than 1 side of A4, but less than 2 sides, your mark will be reduced by 10%•If your overall work exceeds the stated limited by more than 2 sides of A4 your mark will be capped at 50%
