b. Who is the protagonist in this film, and who is the antagonist? What social forces do they each represent?
c. In what ways does the film bring together elements of the American dream, Christian values and ethics, and national identity?
d. Why is the film set at Christmas time? How is this holiday associated with what happens to George Bailey?
