Virtue Ethics Writing Assignment: Characteristics of a Virtuous Person
TEACHERS INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
pick 3 virtues from this list, then give me three people you believe exemplify each of those virtues.
List of Virtues:
1) First, tell me who it is and what virtue they exemplify.
2) Then, tell me what traits they have that you think express the virtue, and which situations they have been in where they made the virtuous choice (make sure to explain how it was a golden median between two extremes in emotion).
3) Next, tell me how you think a different person would have reacted in that same scenario such that they would not express virtue.
4) Now, tell me how this figure helps you see how you can cultivate the same virtuous characteristics in yourself.
