Sarbanes-Oxley
Sarbanes-Oxley applies to all companies that issue securities under U.S. federal securities, whether headquartered within the United States or not. Thus, in addition to U.S.-based firms, approximately 1,300 foreign firms from 59 countries fall under the law’s jurisdiction.
