Immigration move critical essay
You will select and watch a movie that is taking place and/or in which a significant portion (at least ½ of the movie) occurs in an immigration center/immigration detention center/immigration prison (5 points).
You will then write a 4-5 page critique of this movie (APA style cover page and references included) (I put 3 pages here in essaypro, but it’s because it’s 3 pages of content of the actual review/critique of movie and the other two pages are the APA style cover page and references page)
You will provide a brief summary of the movie (2 points)
Critically analyze the movie in terms of content (what information is offered based on what you know about immigration and detention centers) (6 points)
Critically analyze the movie in terms of construct (what is the scope/vision of the movie and how that is well developed in the movie based on what you know about immigration and detention centers) (6 points)
Provide your personal reactions (positive, negative, strengths, and areas of growth) to the article. (6 points).
As this assignment is a critique rather than a summary of an article, the paper should include maximum one paragraph (1/2 of a page) summary of the movie (more will result in 1 point deduction per additional paragraph in your overall grade of this assignment). Students may use the “I” pronoun in their paper, if desired.
My professor ask us to maybe include some information from our readings(I only have a link to one) if you feel that it goes well with the essay( The reading is in the files section)
