Business-minded entrepreneurs may conjure phenomenal ideas, capable of impacting and transforming lives through a stand-alone product. However, if entrepreneurs do not understand how to articulate or present the product to a board or a group of interested parties, the opportunity may go amiss (Boss, 2015, n.p.). Essentially, decision-making can influence and determine how well presentations and analysis can transpire (Boss, 2015, n.p.). Therefore, decision-making plays an essential part of preventing against paralysis analysis (Boss, 2015, n.p.). Boss (2015) notes, “decision-making is similar insofar as the choices you make are a reflection of the values, beliefs, morals and intentions that not only shape your behavior, but also identify you as a person as well impact others” (n.p.). Also, training and development in understanding the ramifications of analysis paralysis can benefit entrepreneurs (“Analysis Paralysis,” 2003, p. 5). For if training and development are not involved in analysis, business measures and standards may be confusing or misleading (“Analysis Paralysis,” 2003, p. 5). Without training and development, “business objectives are probably unrealistic” (“Analysis Paralysis,” 2003, p. 5). If analysis is handled well and an entrepreneur presents strong evidence under pressure, investors and customers will likely be retained “effectively” and “valued” (Harter, 2001, p. 42).
