Trademarks and Consumers
The title of my research paper will be Trademarks and Consumers. My thesis statement will be as follows, through an analysis of trademarks and advertising on the Internet, this paper seeks to demonstrate that the sale of trademarked keywords does not in fact infringe on a trademark owner’s rights. I choose to write on this matter because I want to gain more knowledge on the rights of trademark owners and how a Consumer may or may not affect them. I will defend my thesis by conducting research that proves the rights of Consumers and Trademark holders. I will be using Primary Sources, Secondary sources and legal cases that have pertinent information in relation to the topic. The bulk of my research will be done using Case Law found in Uni Nexis and other legal sources.

Be sure to clarify in your paper that you will be assessing federal trademark law. You can register trademarks with a state, as well. However, you would need more than 10 pages to discuss both types of trademark protections.
