Patient Information:
Mary Smith is a 74 year old woman who just returned from a cruise to the Caribbean with her family. Since her return home, three days ago, she notes shortness of breath, fever (measured at home as 101.2 F) and harsh, dry cough. She presents to her family provider today to get tested for COVID-19. She has a history of Type 2 DM, A Fib, and OA. Her surgical history includes C-section times two, and remote tonsillectomy. Mary is 5 ft. 8 inches tall and weighs 125 lbs. She has received both her Flu and Pneumonia vaccines this year. Her med list includes: Januvia, Glucophage, Mobic, and apixaban. Mary is allergic to strawberries and walnuts.
