Both the “policies to help balance work and family” video and the Clawson and Gertsel article discuss some programs that can help parents balance the demands of both work and family. For this assignment, you will get a chance to consider the relationship between work and family life from three differing perspectives. Please address the following questions in a 2-4 page paper (12-point Times New Roman font, double spaced with one inch margins):

From the personal perspective: What are your expectations about work and family life after you leave school? If you are not currently married or are married without children, will you and your future spouse/partner both work outside the home if you have preschool-age children? If you are married (or were married before) and have children, did you both work outside the home with young children? Why or why not? What difficulties will or did you face because of your choice? What kinds of personal and social pressures might influence (or have influenced) your decisions? Have your parents provided a model for you to follow? Describe the model.

From the corporate perspective: Imagine you are the chief executive officer for a company and that you are struggling with how to help your employees balance work and family pressures. What can you reasonably do at the corporate level to help your employees balance their responsibilities? What specific company policies could you implement to ease these pressures?

From the governmental perspective: Imagine you are the president of the United States, and you are concerned with how to help parents balance work and family. What specific public policies would you propose to help parents?

for per my perspective , I am married with 2 children and we both work outside the home and my daughter is 4 and my boy is 3 no preschool.
