The assignment is to write a comprehensive essay in which you clearly define the term/concept/court case/phenomenon that has been assigned. Which is POLL TAXES.
In the essay, you must:
I. Clearly define the term/concept/court case/phenomenon and tell where it is located in the chapter (please do so according to The Chicago Manual Style).
II. Clearly state the foundation (constitutional, statutory, political judicial, etc.) of the item and its relevance to the rest of the chapter-for example, in which context was it discussed and how is it related to everything else that is discussed in the chapter?

IV. Discuss the relevance of the item to American government, politics, culture, and political culture.
V. Summarize the content of all that you have stated and provide a substantive conclusion.
