My favorite sport is softball. i’ve been playing softball since I was 14 years old with a team called “lady bombers against bullying”. my mom and dad always attended my games. before every game me and my team would practice and the day after every game me and my dad would practice. when I turn 15 I joined my schools team. i’ve played every position on the field but my favorite position was shortstop. i’ve played softball for seven different teams. it’s my peace and I love every part of it. Besides my dad, a mentor I had for softball was my highschool coach Mr. Burton. my favorite game was during my senior year, it was the fifth game in the season. we sang chants the entire game, and our defense was amazing! I hit good hits the whole game. then we got distracted and I started getting upset. my coach told me, “the game isn’t over till it’s over I’ve always believed in you not show me why you want this” he always knew how to get me on my toes, I got my head in the game and by the time it was over i had 2 home runs, three doubles, one triple and 12 run batted in (RBI). The feeling of winning wasn’t what matter to me. it’s the feeling I get when I put all my effort on that field and know that someone believes in me as much as i do.

Softball allows me to describe myself in ways I can’t do speaking. Its a relief and for that, it will always be home!
