ASSIGNMENT:
Go to a museum or gallery and experience art first hand. Come back here and tell me about it.
Write about an art work that captured you on your visit. If you are by chance deployed or your work schedule does not allow a field study tell me about a particular artwork that you have seen in the past or want to know more about. If you are deployed, you must clear the artwork and the online museum with me first.
Be certain to include important details such as:
The name of the museum or gallery. Describe something about the museum that cannot be experienced online but only in person or submit a copy of your ticket stub(5pts).

Who was it by (1pt)
What year was it created and the size of the art (2pts)
Explain its theme (the subject) i.e. gender, politics, religion, etc. (10pts).
What was happening in history when the artwork was created and how it relates to this artwork? (10pts). Explain
Was this artwork influenced by history or another artist (10pts)? Explain.
Analysis using the visual elements of a composition and the principles of design learned in Chapters 2-4. (10pts)
