You will submit your topic, how itrelates to textbook topics, and one peer-reviewed journal article relevant to the topic via a quiz box on Canvas. This will be dueApril 20and is worth 25 points. The second piece of the assignment is writing a one-page summary of one of your sources. (It does not have to be the same sourceyou picked for the first step.)The goal of this is to practice paraphrasing and restating ideas in your own words with limited use of quotes. This will be due April 27and is worth 40 points. Developing an outline helps bring structure to your paper while ensuring that you address each aspect of the assignment. You will turn in an outline of your paper which includes at least two of your references. The outline will be due on May 4and will be worth 75points. The final paper is due on May 11and will conform to the following requirements. The grading rubric is also posted on Canvas so you can see the relative weights of aspects of the assignment.

Formatting and length:Minimum of 5pages, not including cover page or reference page. Double-space your paper. Use 1” margins.
