Power Point Presentation

You are to select a client from your practicum experience and develop a power point presentation to be presented to your peers. Record your presentation using VidGrid. Post to the case conference discussion board. Please see the calendar posted under the Course Overview tab. The presentation should be no more than 10-15 minutes. The case conference should logically follow the steps of assessment, diagnosis, management and treatment based upon the current clinical practice guidelines for a specific disorder and follow the outline below. The student will post the presentation and at least 2 clinical practice guidelines used in the treatment of a specific disorder/client on the discussion board.

Include the following in your presentation:

Client information: Provide enough information to create a picture of who this client is.
Diagnosis and substantiating information.
Psychiatric history
Social history
Additional Client information
Medications and summary of outcomes
Application of your selected psychotherapy appropriate for the client
Other treatments
Formulate 2 questions to pose to your peers about this client.
Provide a description of care you have or would provide to this client and discuss any evidence-based references to support this.
