Managing Diversity is the Subject

The reflection paper is an opportunity for you to reflect upon three important objectives you learned in the course, and how those objectives changed your perspective on diversity. Each week there are a number of objectives listed at the beginning of the lesson. Those objectives are the basis of that week’s learning. For the reflection paper, choose three objectives (one objective from each of three different weeks) that were especially meaningful to you and address the following:
o Provide a brief, one- or two-paragraph overview of what you learned regarding that objective
o Provide a one paragraph summary of how that objective and subsequent knowledge changed your perspective on diversity.
The three objectives that I want to focus on for this assignment are:
Week 1: Identify the challenge of managing diversity in a global context.
Week 5: Compare and contrast individualism and collectivism and how these theories impact global diversity.
Week 9: Assess how culture affects the relationships between countries and within organizations that operate in many different cultures.
