1. Grab a reader’s attention
2. Generate interest in the content
3. Ask the recipient for action
4. One page only (can be front and back)
Things to remember:
• Who is your audience? Is it the individual? Is it a community of people? *You have to know this first!!
• Use headlines to grab a reader’s attention
• Keep text short and to the point (6th grade reading level) and utilize supportive pictures
• Use at most 4 contrasting colors
• Make your points easily identifiable AKA Don’t get too complicated
• Proofread!
For this assignment the content must include:
• Identification of issue relating to a life stage
• Description of the issue related to life stage
• Causes of the issue, including social determinents
• Any other further information needed to understand the issue
• Influence the issue has on occupations for that life stage
• Explain why the issue should matter to the individual, family, and society
• Include information on what can be done to maintain health and wellness and what is needed for prevention
• References & Citations using APA format
• In own words- not quotes . More than 5% on safe assign or any plaigerism checker will lose
5-10 points
