An 11-year-old girl was playing basketball in your church’s youth league. She ran into another player, fell, and hit her head on the floor. She had double vision, gaps in her memory, temporarily lost her ability to walk, and was sensitive to light. From what you learned about the central nervous system (CNS), and specifically the brain, what was going on with this young girl?
