Please do not choose President elect Trump as a “social problem.” I understand the election is still on the forefront of peoples minds but, I am looking for a specific issue like those listed above. If you have questions, please email me.

Next, find three examples in the history from the modules that we have worked on in this class, each from different time periods and places, in which other civilizations experienced the same (or almost same) problem (You may NOT use anything relating to America as a historical example, it must have occurred before 1550 and must be in the first 14 chapters of your textbook!). For each example provide the full historical context of the problem. Explain the nature of the problem including as much historical detail and example as possible and include relevant source evidence. Make sure that you include important dates and pay attention to the historical timeline. As you move between the three civilizations make sure to include transitions that explain your change from one civilization to the next.

Lastly, in your conclusion, you must analyze what lessons or insights can be drawn from the experiences of each of the three civilizations that would be useful to our current struggles with the same problem. An example outline for your essay can be seen here (Links to an external site.).
