For the purposes of this question “compare and contrast” means to show similarities and differences. “Explain the differences” here means both to show how the religions are different but also explain why they are different. Although some concepts or practices may include many dimensions, please limit your response to a discussion of the dimensions in the question given.

Your response should consider all of the religions we have studied so far. As well, your response should show a comprehensive understanding of the traditions and give more than one example from each.

You may organize your response as you like, but make sure that your organization is clear, logical, and easy to read. Your response must be more than a collection of quotations or facts – it must make clear arguments in response to the question.

A good response shows (1) an understanding of the traditions based on the assigned coursework, (2) an understanding of the differences between traditions, and (3) an understanding of the methods for the study of religion used in our course.
