o In the event that there are more than four responses included, then please note that only the first four in order of sequence will be evaluated and the other response will be ignored.
· Respond to ALL PART OF ALL QUESTIONS.

This is an individual assessment. By submitting this exam, you are validating you understand and agree to comply with the following:

Any submissions found to have originality issues will be referred to the University of Maryland Global Campus integrity assurance process for further review and investigation.

· You may only use the course materials to answer this exam, including assigned and recommended readings, weekly summaries, weekly lessons/lectures, announcements and suggested resources. No other material is allowed, unless otherwise specified in the questions below.
· However, the weekly summaries and lessons/lectures SHOULD NOT be the primary support used in responses.
· When making reference to course materials, use properly formatted APA citations and references.
Format
· Document should be double spaced and adhere to APA guidelines.
· For organizational purposes, please state the question so that it serves as a header.
o As each question has multiple parts, it also would be helpful if you presenting your response to each part in its own section/paragraphs.
· Be sure that all sources are properly cited in the body of your responses.
· Be sure that all citations are appropriately referenced at the end of the entire submission in the reference section/page.
· The submission must include ONE reference list at the end of the document with all of the references used in your responses.
· Responses to ALL questions are to be incorporated into ONE/SINGLE MS Word document.
· MS WORD is the only word processing format accepted for this exam.
· Suggested font is Times New Roman (12 point).
Length
· Responses to each question should be approximately 500 words (Approx. 2 pages double spaced) but should not exceed 750 words (Approx. 3 pages double spaced maximum).
Worth
· Each question has equal weight
· This individual assignment is worth 20% of the final grade for this course.
· There are no extra credit components for this Assignment.
· Unless previously approved, late submissions will be rejected or accepted with penalty determined by the Faculty.

· Identifies and explains any requested concepts/theories
· Applies any requested concepts/theories
· Accounts for all significant factors relevant to the response
· Makes connections explicit
· Descriptions, explanations and applications of concepts/theories are relevant, detailed, appropriate and correct
· Support 30%
· Uses specific, concrete, relevant details, examples, evidence and numerous references to source material to substantiate and explain points
· Rationale is primary based on the course readings, moves beyond support from lessons and weekly summaries
· Writing/Format 10%
· The writing/language is clear and concise.
· Clear voice peaks the reader’s interest in the topic’s relevance
· There are no (or very few) mistakes in grammar, spelling, and/or punctuation.
· Excellent adherence to APA style.
