TO WHAT DEGREE DOES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PILLBOXES IMPACTS MEDICATION ADHERENCE among the Hispanic older adults 65 to 95 years old when compared to the same age group who demonstrate non-adherence prior to implementation of the pillboxes in a primary care clinic over 6 weeks.

INSTRUMENTATION: HILL-BONE MEDICATION COMPLIANCE
DATA COLLECTION/DATA ANALYSIS APPROACH
Compare the same defined group: non adherent prior to implementation and non adherent with implementation
Nurse to provide pillboxes, make weekly phone calls, keep a log to assess compliance, then healthcare provider to measure the rate of compliance
Given the nature of the project, statistical and mathematical used to analyze the data
USE HILL-BONE MEDICATION ADHERENCE SCALE (HB-MAS) TO PROVIDE DESCRIPTION OF DATA COLLECTION
