Topic 1
The Disney Corporation makes billions of dollars each year selling its line of “Princess” products. Do you think the company is marketing to a need that already exists in young girls to play the princess, or do you think Disney is creating the need through its marketing?
Draw on 2 of the arguments of Baum, Zipes, and/or Bettelheim in your analysis.

Folktales can be violent. Are they appropriate for children, in terms of their violence? Draw on the essays of Baum, Bettelheim, and or Zipes for your argument.
