The report should focus on the pathogen causing the disease, how it is diagnosed, signs and symptoms, etiology of the disease (how it makes us sick) and how it is treated. Additionally, inclusion of interesting or historical facts about the symptoms or signs of the disease is recommended. 4. Spelling and grammar count and so will affect your grade. 5. Your report on the case study should not be more than 250 words. Try to be succinct, and stay on one page. For your case study you should create 3 questions associated with your scenario that will guide someone to solve the case study. Regardless of the format chosen, all questions must be addressed and answered. There is a 5-point penalty per question left unanswered. 6. All resources used for the project must be referenced, and an APA format used. This includes any information used in the report submitted. Be sure to use peer-reviewed journals, educational or governmental resources or published textbooks. DO NOT include information from unreliable internet sites. Remember, Wikipedia is a great place to start, but it is not a resource. 7. Plagiarism of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in a 0 for the entire project. Use your own words, thoughts and ideas. DO NOT SUBMIT A CASE STUDY FROM THE INTERNET OR BOOKS.
