Instructions The written examination contains questions to assess your individual knowledge of the course literature and your ability to use the theoretical and practical knowledge in the area of cross-cultural teams and project management. The examination starts with a fictional case-study designed for the purpose of this retake online examination. The exam is composed of 4 main questions and sub-questions. You should base your answer using the information given in the case as much as possible but you also need to make your own assumptions, estimations and anchor your response into the course literature. You can use freely the course book, lecture notes, or scientific articles in the course compendium. Yet, you do not need to cite in a formal way. However, if you use external material please cite them correctly using Harvard Style Referencing. • Indicate clearly the number of questions you are answering for and respond in the sequence of questions 1, 2, 3, 4. • Structure your answer to demonstrate a good review of models and concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired from the course literature, give examples and reflect on your answers, if questions require. • There are no minimum or maximum word limit. Write clearly, precisely and to the point.” However, you should neither respond “in bullet points” nor write a long essay per question”. You are just expected to be eloquent in your answers. • If you need you can create charts /diagrams using different MS office programs and then you copy-paste /insert the chart/diagram to your response sheet. • If you use abbreviations indicate what it is and please do not use same abbreviations for different things, e.g. do not use the abbreviation PM interchangeably both for project management and project manager.
