Social Justice in Relation to Healthcare

For this assignment, you will complete a 3-5 page paper identifying a current social justice trend (e.g., Black Lives Matter, the Women’s March). Analyze the trend using the social justice theory framework that you most identify with. Use the roundtable videos in Weeks 4 and 6 as a guide to applying social justice theory. Determine what implications this trend has on public health and/or the health care system in the United States. Evaluate existing and/or proposed policies and/or legislation that impacts this social justice trend using your selected social justice theory and considering the World Health Organization (WHO) Health in All Policies initiative.
