Write a maximum 5-page report on how triple bottom line accounting could be applied to Nike
The report should include the following:
An explanation (appropriately sourced) of what triple bottom line accounting is
A literature review (have a look at a minimum of three articles on the topic of the triple bottom line or triple helix reporting and provide a brief (1-2 paragraph) summary of each, and offer a brief critique. You should outline at least one thing you agree with and disagree with in each article.
Create your own personal definition of what triple bottom line accounting
An overview of the organization you chose to analyze – (what is their mission/ vision, what does the company do, where do they operate, who are their clients/ customers)
An overview of how the concept of triple bottom line could be used to measure the organization’s success.
Provide the company with three recommendations of things they could measure in each of the three categories of economic, environmental and social (9 total recommendations) to determine their success as a company. Remember to focus on “SMART” goals – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMART_criteria – all criteria recommended should be measurable.Where possible, link to other organizations who are using the same metrics/ measures.
