Should nuclear energy be considered part of a ‘global energy solution’?

We are in need of reliable energy sources to replace diminishing fossil fuels and we need rapid solutions to keep global climate change under control. Should nuclear energy be considered part of a ‘global energy solution’?

Note : word limit : 800 – 1000 words.

Introduce the topic.
Examine opposing claims that are out there (for as well as against) by reviewing and interpreting data. The references should be cited in-text. You must include the list of references at the end. Number the references and refer to them in the text using the number in the square parenthesis.
Now, state your position and defend it by providing at least two rational arguments. Each argument might be contained within separate paragraphs for clarity. Support arguments with scientific data (numbers, figures, tables) and provide in-text references for the source of the data wherever necessary.
