Topic: “How does the COVID-19 affects stock market”

Project Report
(i) A summary of the project’s topic and its relations to finance. Please briefly describe finance relates to the topic and why you believe it is interesting for further research.
(ii) Discussions of the research you have done for the topic. Research through reading academic publications and news pieces in the popular press about the topic. Please describe these readings in some detail and explain what you have learned from them about your topic. Please cite the publications properly. The discussion should be fairly extensive and should exhibit a balance between rigorous academic publications and other information sources.

(iii) A summary of your insights on the topic. Please explain a) what you believe to be the most important takeaways from your research that you did not know before, and b) whether and what you can say about the topic beyond others’ research, i.e., you own insights about the topic after research. This part is important in that you should reflect on your research and demonstrate ability of independent thinking

Formatting Suggestions

1. 12 font, double or 1.5 space are recommended. Times New Roman
2. No limits for exhibits, tables, figures, references, etc. In other words, writing of the report should be concise but one can have a lot of supporting materials.
3. Please confine tables, figures, etc. to appendices rather than placing them in the main body of the report.
4. Please divide the report into sections and subsections. Each section should have a clear focus.

5. There is no specific formatting requirement for references, but please cite others’ work clearly. Links to publications cited are recommended.
