Engineering final write up

So, you have already done the
1) Updated Background and Introduction

2) You did a draft of the “more polished version of the design requirements”. A more polished version and update of the Design Requirements and Specifications based on your sponsor feedback. Note that once your sponsor has agreed to the set of specifications, you must get their approval for any changes.
In addition to this material, a lot of important new information should be included in the Preliminary Design Report. This report details your progress through and results of the conceptual design phase. Note that most groups will have selected a top concept to present in this report, but a few might yet be deciding between a couple of alternatives. The Preliminary Design Report should contain:
· Short description and layout drawings (sketches) of your top 5-10 concepts .
· Description of the process you used to select your selected (lead) concept.
· Discussion of how your concepts satisfy the specifications. t.

For the final report, you take the original project proposal, and substitute in (1) and (2). Following the final project proposal template, you expand the original project proposal from early in the semester. The idea of having (1) and (2) is that it gives you a big head start.
