Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension

This assignment is an American Psychological Association (APA) Project Assessment and requires you to identify a psychological concept from the course. Then, you are to describe something that you have observed that illustrates the concept, and explain how the concept applies to your observation.

Assignment Instructions

As we go through the 7 week course, you will begin to see examples of what we are covering all over the place: with your friends and family, in film, internet & television (including ads), in books, and in your courses (including this one!), and at work. If there are lother people involved, Psychology will be there.

Keep your eyes and ears open! When you spot an edxample of a Psychological concept, make a note of it. The concept does not have to come from material we have not covered yet (if it does not, however, make sure it is something we will cover in the course; i.e., look at your syllabus).

Assignment Format for3 Part Paper

1. Identify concept.

2. Describe what you have observed.

3. Explain how what you observed is an example of that concept.

Scoring Criteria

1. Concept is identified and relevant to the course (10 points)

2. Observation (45 points)

a, Detailed and relevant description of what was observed (45 points)

b. Satisfactory description of what was observed (32 points)

c. Inadequate description of what was observed (9 points)

3. Explanation (45 points)

a. Concept is related to the observation, and the explanation is clear (45 points)

b. Concepth is related to the observation, but the explanation is not (27 points)
