You are back in time in England during the Middle Ages. You join a group of pilgrims much like the group in The Canterbury Tales.
1) Do some research into the life, times, housing, food, customs, clothing, and travel of the time of Chaucer in Great Britain.
2) First describe the people, clothing, language, and travel conditions that you encounter on your pilgrimage.
3) Next, tell your own tale in the form of a medieval romance in which you teach a lesson about one of the following: the treatment of women, the strengths and weaknesses of the growing merchant (middle) class, the Code of Chivalry: its pros and cons and whether the code is truly practiced in the way it was intended
4) Look up these concepts also common to the Middle Ages and make use of at least one of them in your tale: The Bodily Humors (See Humors, Bodily), the changes in the English Language during the Middle Ages, the custom of supporting an argument with quotes from a famous Greek or Latin philosopher or with quotes from the Bible)
