Coronavirus Reflection – 20 points
Instructions -(3 pages minimum (ok to go over), double-spaced), minimum 3 academic references , citations needed in text, references on separate page at end
Part 1.
Students will write a self-reflection to examine how the Coronavirus affected their OWN development (physical, cognitive and social/emotional). Be specific with examples (you MUST use at least one child development theory we have studied this semester for cognitive development and one theory for soc/emo. You must name the theory, define it, and use an example for each).
Discuss short term and long term implications (both positive and
negative).
Part 2. You will be teachers in a couple of years. As research studies are finding, there will be long term implications from this virus. As a teacher, what types of issues might you be dealing with as a result of this virus in a couple of years? Provide at least one cognitive and one social/emotional. Based on these issues, what will you do to promote healthy development in a child?
