The purpose of this case study is to enable you to demonstrate your proficiency in the class material so far. You will come to class prepared to present your work on the assigned case. You will also submit an electronic version of your work on Canvas by the start of Class 4.

Case Studies Format
Students will work on three Case Studies for this course.

For Case Studies 1 & 2, students will use the following Analytic Framework:

Fundamentals
Context
Considerations
Options
Summary & Recommendation
For Case Study 3, students will use a workbook for the analysis: Four Pillars: Strategy Workbook: From Idea to Strategy.

Please Note

In Case Studies 1 & 2, the key issue is the success or failure leading disruption or transformation in an organization.

Therefore, specific technologies, and dates of the case studies, are not factors in the analysis.

Modules 4 & 9
Students are expected to prepare and submit an analytic paper – a case study write-up – before Class 4 and Class 9 (in MSFT Word; APA Style, Format, and Citation; submitted in Canvas).

A typical analytic paper for this assignment is between 5 and 10 pages long, with topics taken from the recommended Analytic Framework.

The analyses should demonstrate that the student has internalized the course material covered to that point and can apply the material to a situation of organizational disruption or transformation.
