Your essay must contain a a thesis-driven, formal, critical argument that supports your claims. All problems are caused by a range of different issues; you are arguing for the top 2 to 4 causes.
You MUST use academic references (Bahamian and otherwise) to support your claims in your paper. No popular sources should be used unless they are needed to contextualize an issue.
The strength of your argument relies on the strength of your thesis; therefore, you must be making a central claim that is, in fact, arguable and supported with evidence (not an anecdote or belief.)
All supporting points must use academic research as evidence, either through direct quotes or paraphrasing with complete and proper citations.
Use four reputable academic sources AND one credible non-academic source
