You have been asked to evaluate COMVITA Limited as a potential investment option for your client. Your client was particularly interested in investing in a New Zealand organisation due to the clean green environment. He is unsure about this investment as he has heard about the stiff competition, redundancies, and poor harvest that have impacted on the business performance for the last three years. He is seeking assistance from your group to evaluate COMVITA Limited’s financial and non-financial performance to decide on the viability of this investment of $1 million.

Your senior manager has approached your group to provide a report regarding COMVITA that contains both financial and non- financial information. The purpose of this report is to assist the client in making an investment decision of $1million in COMVITA. In particular, the manager has emphasized on the following information for your report:

· A brief overview of the business;

· Some historical highlights, both good and bad;

· Financial performance over the last three years (2018,2019,2020) and including comments regarding their profitability, liquidity and long term solvency;

· Other important financial information including share prices, dividends and other relevant information;

· Important non-financial information (where applicable): e.g. management and operational, corporate governance, social responsibility, international and domestic competition, and risk assessment.

· Your evaluation and final recommendation to the client to invest or not to invest in COMVITA Limited with justification.
