Your paper must meet general standards of professionalism for business writing – concision, clarity, grammar, spelling, etc. (Refer to the paper grading rubric for further details). The page number requirement of 7 – 9 pages is for content only therefore the cover, abstract and reference pages, as well as any appendices, will not be included in the count. Please refrain from including lists, graphs, charts, tables (anything that has the effect of increasing the page number count.
Points WILL be deducted if the minimum number count is not met. Papers exceeding the upper limit by more than 2 pages will be deemed to be excessive and MAY be penalized.
Your paper must also conform to the APA writing style – e.g. properly completed cover page, in-text citations, and correctly constructed reference list. You can access several links in the STUDENT HELP section of the navigational panel provided for your assistance.
Points will be deducted for non-conformance. PLEASE REMEMBER TO MAKE YOUR PAPER YOUR OWN WORK. Over-reliance on direct quotes from sources will be heavily penalized.
Final course grades are required to be submitted within 48 hours after the end of the semester and therefore as a general rule, no late final paper assignments will be accepted, thus resulting in a grade of ZERO. However, assignments may be accepted from students experiencing verifiable extenuating circumstances such as a medical emergency or other emergencies. To facilitate acceptance students must report and provide written proof of such events within 24 hours of the due date and make arrangements to complete assignments in a timely manner. Failure to do so MAY result in a 50% penalty.
