2. Select one of the two social dilemmas, you presented in Part 1 to analyze.
3. Conduct further research about your selected dilemma from the scholarly/authoritative literature, so that you cite 4 total scholarly/authoritative sources in your final research paper to address these prompts:
4. Analyze the social dilemma from the perspective of a social psychologist looking to explain the situational context and individual self-concern versus other-concern aspects of the dilemma.
o Describe the type of dilemma to which it best compares
o Use the dual-concern model to recommend how to move the parties in this particular conflict toward each other
o Identify other strategies you might use to promote cooperation and move toward an integrative solution to the social dilemma
5. Analyze the social dilemma through a Christian lens. Consider scriptures at KnowingJesus.com (opens in new window) or others you might be familiar with for inspiration when reflecting on this key perspective.
o Address those elements of the dilemma that might be uniquely seen through a perspective of faith.
