In-Person or Virtual Learning?
Weigh the pros and cons of getting vaccinated against COVID-19. What are the benefits and risks? Do the benefits outweigh the risks? Or do the risks outweigh the benefits? Or, is it too soon to know? Use the 4- step process as illustrated in the chapter 1 scenario on drinking untreated stream water. You will need to do a little research in order to make an informed decision. Make sure that the sources you use are credible. Do not use Social Media sites. Credible sources might include the CDC, North Caroline DHHS, Pharmaceutical websites such as Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson, and Johnson, etc. You may also use material from major news organizations. Based on the pros and cons given our current situation with COVID-19, what do you believe to be the best course of action and why? If you have a question about a source, contact me.
Hint: Your initial response must take into account each of the following and remember this discussion is not about your personal preference, but about the best course of action given the present situation with the virus:
(1) Consider the possible courses of action.
(2) Guess the consequences of those various courses of action.
