– Having immigrated to America with no single knowledge of the English language. It is like you’re on a whole different planet and all the people speak a different language than you. I started school in the first grade and I grasped the English language when I was in the second grade. The way I’ve understood English so quickly was I started with the basics and grasped more from there. Understanding it better and better each day because I didn’t just stop using it one day.
