Poem interpretation in a certain context
I need a 15 page term paper (type size 12, double spaced, MLA style, 5+ sources) for university (Master’s British Literature).
There are two major aspects which need to be included in the paper:
1)
The paper must(!) consist of 3 poem interpretations for poems by Osip Mandelstam and Derek Walcott (see attachment). It should be a general interpretation with a focus on the resonance of “breath related” terms (breath, air, voice, you name it). It should uncover their meanings in the different poems.
2)
Please link the authors of the poems. They were both exiled and wrote part of their works from exile. Walcott quotes Mandelstam in his poem and broadens the frame of reference by linking Mandelstam’s poems with his own work. The linking should take about 1 page of the paper so you can put it into the conclusion. However, if you want to write more about it, feel free.
