There is no system in place currently to help patients detect cardiac arrest before it occurs. The proposed system will fill this gap by enabling early detection of an imminent heart attack. The biggest beneficiaries will be the cardiopulmonary patients. The system uses a 3G network. There are areas with coverage problems, which are likely to limit usage to 3G enabled areas. Some of the advantages are that the system utilizes readily available and affordable devices and accessible to many. It will also make treatment easy for patients in remote areas far away from healthcare facilities.

Through real-time monitoring, the system will enhance timely diagnosing and treatment and will save more lives. The integration of this technology will improve digital equity in HMIS since it will be affordable and mobile hence accessible to a larger percentage of the population.
