I am STATE YOUR NAME, a student from INSTITUTION NAME. I am writing I regard to gun control policies issue. Gun-related violence has been on the rise, and the development of stringent control policies is an indispensable necessity. I am writing to ask for your continued support on the development of strict gun control policies by signing stringent gun control bills into law to maximize internal peace and eliminate gun-related violence, mass shooting, homicides, and other related violent activities.
The federal government has been developing stringent gun control policies that have received much criticism and support at equal measures. The debate and deep divisions have resulted in partisan groups on this issue. However, asking for the support of more stringent gun control policies is due to research conducted by Pew Research Center that concludes that over the years, there is increased support for strict gun control policies among the population. In March 2017, proponent opinions were 52%, in October 2018, they rose to 57%, and in September 2019, they were at 60%. Opponent opinions of stringent laws, in 2017, were 18%, in 2018 and 2019 remains at 11%. In the government, proponent opinions include 86% of Democrats and 31% of the Republicans, which is an increase of 11% and 7% respectively since 2017. Demographically, many people are in favor of stringent gun control policies, with 64% among women and 55% among men.
Mr. President, as seen from the survey, most of the population’s public opinions are in favor of stringent gun control policies as well as our leaders. They feel internal conflicts and external threats will be minimized when proper gun inspection and stringent requirements are placed to ensure effective firearm acquisition, management, and ownership.

The issue of my interest revolves around the development and adoption of stringent gun control policies and laws. This will ensure internal conflicts and external threats are minimized when proper gun inspection and strict requirements are placed to ensure effective firearm acquisition, management, and ownership. The letter is addressed to the President of the USA, his Excellency Honorable Donald J. Trump. Addressing this letter to him is due to the magnitude of the issue. Gun acquisition is a right and freedom, as seen in the First Amendment of the Constitution, which, if not controlled and taken as an essential issue, can result in a national security threat. As the commander-in-chief of the armed forces and head of civil administration, the President will sign stringent gun control policies when he sees proof that most of the demographics are in support of strict gun control laws and policies. This issue has been a source of heated debates that I feel threaten the balance between humanity and survival. Understanding that stringent gun control policies are better measures to minimize or eliminate gun-related deaths, homicides, and mass shootings is of essential importance.
