Charismatic Leadership

Charismatic leadership is typically the strategy of embracing a specific behavior in others through a way of influential communication, affiliation together with the force of character. Charismatic leaders are known to be motivating their followers to get things accomplished or enhance how some things are completed. This is achieved through conjuring up enthusiasm in others to fulfill a given ambition or objective. Some of the elements of charismatic leadership engage extraordinary skills in communication as this is a way of motivating workers through difficult times and also assist them to stay firm when things are good (Parry & Kempster, 2014). Another element is linked with humility, where charismatic leaders always possess a sense of humility and value every employee. These individuals are capable of convincing the workers of the importance they bring to the business and show them how their efforts are significant to the strategic development of the company. This leadership is associated with excellent listening skills where charismatic leaders are considered good viewers who pay keen concentration to whatever is being said.

Cultural Constraints in Charismatic Leadership

Close to all aspects of leadership is affected by the type of culture existing as values, beliefs and norms are typically embedded in a culture that in turn hinders the leadership objectives behavior and strategies of institutions (Mhatre & Riggio, 2014). Diverse social gatherings can affect this kind of leadership by changing the most significant attributes of charismatic leadership. In some cultures, an individual may need to implement stable and definite operations keeping in mind the end objective to be viewed as a leader. In some communities, cultures have dominated in the ways leadership is considered to be administrative practices and a motivational mechanism that is effective in one culture might not be the same case in another.
