ANSWER

Advantages of a Multicultural Society

Native Americans, African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, German Americans, and Irish Americans are the common ethnic groups in the United States of America. Multiculturalism has several benefits to society. Some of the benefits are increased creativity; research shows that the more the network includes various cultural backgrounds, the more high-level creativity and innovation. Most of the successful firms and companies are those with employees from different ethnic groups. The second advantage is the provision of better customer service; studies show that a multicultural workforce can improve connectivity and communication with customers since employees from different cultures are always sensitive to other cultures. Multiculturalism enables an n organization to retain the best talent; within a competitive global job market, a well-invested business in various cultures always comes out distinguished from other companies. Research has also shown that an organization comprising different cultures offers a broader and more adaptable variety of products and services. Companies can hire various professionals with a broad range of skills, which is not available when the company employs locally (Feliciano & Lanuza 2016).

Multiculturalism has proven to be highly productive due to high performance and high range of experience, expertise, and various working methods. Businesses that recognize multiculturalism have more happy and productive teams than those who do not appreciate ethnicity. Different ethnic groups create unique and professional growth opportunities because firms that hire employees from various ethnic groups always attract talented, ambitious and internationally-minded professionals who finally recognize personal and professional growth opportunities. Studies have shown that organizations and businesses that hire from different ethnic groups have more knowledge of the local market and insight, thereby making them more competitive with profitability levels. The employees will provide important information when expanding into new markets, mostly overseas. Finally, organizations with employees from various ethnic groups have high quality and targeted market since high-quality diversions of websites, brochures and assets are crucial for a company’s growth. In conclusion, firms and organizations need to appreciate and recognize high productivity levels for high productivity levels (Vora et al., 2019).
