Technology has impacted all spheres of human activity. In the health industry, I am particularly interested in how health practitioners share data amongst themselves. The success of digital infrastructure in health largely relies on the ability of different bodies within the health industry to govern and steward the changes effectively. A major standard is the management of data collected and managed from the health management information systems. To health care administrators, clinical practitioners, and health information technologists, the ability to provide patient diagnoses, care, and treatment are only effective when the data is effectively and efficiently available in legible formats and integrity standards. Data stewardship standards are, therefore, vital in health as in any other field. Proper methods in sharing of data will mean efficiency, effectiveness and accurateness in all the phases of treatment which will mean a positive change in the world.
