As you know, men and women often have different roles in a relationship. Men often take on the instrumental role. They earn the money to keep the household running and help with chores such as mowing the lawn and changing the oil in the car (of course these are just some examples). Women have the expressive role and provide emotional support to their partner and children, help with homework, cook dinner, wash the clothes, and do the housework, all after working a full day. In some cases, the two share a strong partnership. They value each other’s opinions and listen to each other’s thoughts. This relationship is based on love, respect, and trust.

Think of a famous couple that falls into this category. It can be a pair from history, the arts, politics, etc. Write a brief background on the couple and then explain the role the woman has in the relationship. How has she influenced her husband? What has she done to make herself known as a strong women?

Marriage and family are fundamental structures in most communities, and while the two categories have been closely associated with the United States culture, their connection is getting more complicated. The link between marriage and family is an exciting study of sociologists. The most influential couple in the United States is Michelle and Barrack Obama. Michelle is even considered more popular than Barrack as the Americans believe the first lady favorably. The former president Barrack Obama and wife Michelle’s romance began back before entering the white house; they met as corporate law employees and quickly fell in love. In this relationship, Michelle was more like a full-on merger, a restructuring of two lives into one thing, with the family’s healthy lifestyle prioritizing one plan or objective. The woman played a significant role in making the husband recognized as the United States president by taking risks and enduring potential pitfalls.

Michelle Obama took a significant step away from her standard career path when her husband became president though stopping her job at the University of Chicago Medical Centre to become the first lady, an extensive career, indeed. Still, not one she precisely would have chosen on her own. This is one action she took that made her be acknowledged as a strong woman (Saunders, 2019). These kinds of choices she took are still popular to mothers than fathers, who are needed to go all-in on their jobs, but for the husband, she writes, the family was frequently more critical, even when work was at its most intense. Michelle played a significant role in her husband’s success and later became the first lady by making the role her priority.
